§ 13-4.9.1. Amendments made to the 2016 CALGreen Code.

The California Green Building Standards Code is amended as follows:

(a)

For new residential construction only (not including additions), the town council hereby adopts as mandatory measures the following otherwise voluntary divisions of Appendix A4:

1. Division A4.1 (Planning & Design);

2. Division A4.3 (Water Efficiency & Conservation);

3. Division A4.4 (Material Conservation and Resource Efficiency);

4. Division A4.5 (Environmental Quality); and

5. Division A4.6 (Tier 1 & Tier 2), deleting all Tier 2 measures.

(b)

For new nonresidential construction only (not including additions), the town council hereby adopts as mandatory measures the following otherwise voluntary divisions of Appendix A5:

1. Division A5.1 (Planning & Design);

2. Division A5.3 (Water Efficiency & Conservation);

3. Division A5.4 (Material Conservation and Resource Efficiency);

4.  Division A5.5 (Environmental Quality); and

5. Division A5.6 (Tier 1 & Tier 2), deleting all Tier 2 measures.
