The town council hereby adopts, for the purpose of providing minimum requirements
for the protection of life, limb, health, property, safety and welfare of the general
public, that certain code known as the 2016 California Electrical Code (based on the
National Electrical Code, 2014 Edition) as published by the National Fire Protection
Association, and as amended by the California Building Standards Commission in the
California Code of Regulations, Title 24, Part 3, hereinafter referred to as the "California
Electrical Code", save and except such portions as are hereinafter amended or modified
by section 13-4.4.1 of this chapter.
