The town council hereby adopts, for the purpose of providing minimum requirements
for the protection of life, limb, health, property, safety and welfare of the general
public, that certain code known as the 2016 California Plumbing Code (based on the
Uniform Plumbing Code, 2015 Edition), including Appendices A, B, D, I, and L published
by the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials, and as amended
by the California Building Standards Commission in the California Code of Regulations,
Title 24, Part 5, hereinafter referred to as the "California Plumbing Code", save
and except such portions as are hereinafter amended or modified by section 13-4.3.1 of this chapter.
