The Town Council hereby adopts, for the purpose of providing minimum requirements
for the protection of life, limb, health, property, safety, and welfare of the general
public, that certain code known as the 2016 California Residential Code (based on
the International Residential Code, 2015 edition), including Appendices G, H, and
J published by the International Code Council, and as amended by the California Building
Standards Commission in the California Code of Regulations, Title 24, Part 2.5, hereinafter
referred to as the "California Residential Code," save and except such portions as
are hereinafter amended or modified by Section 13-4.2.1 of this chapter.
